The Misfit Restaurant located in the center of 3rd Street Promenade. Opened in April of 2011 and owned by the LGO Hospitality group http://www.pinterest.com/lgohospitality/ – the spot has a post prohibition, American, French feel. For a Sunday in December, located next to one of Los Angeles’ biggest tourist attractions; the place was packed with women who love to brunch and shop for Holiday presents. The wait was not long, the staff was friendly, and the service was average, but the food was good. Pictured I had the Crispy Lobster Nik Nik slider, which was mostly fried filled, not enough meat- but tasty. In addition, I ordered the homemade croissant. This was delicious, and the almond butter that accompanied this pastry on the side was wonderful. Lastly, I tried the chilaquiles for brunch. Now this was great- I like that they prepared this with two savory salsas and all the chicken was white meat. Yum! I washed away this lunch with a mimosa. Ladies- if you are shopping on 3rd street and lunching with friends- The Misfit is a must try. Check out my video on Tastemade to see more.
