“Get ready for the Launch Party”: L.A Times Food Bowl kickoff party!

An exclusive L.A. Times Food Bowl kickoff party celebrating the opening night for our month-long festival of food in Los Angeles

By: Tahiry Sanchez

It is with great excitement that we announce the return of the L.A. Times Food Bowl, presented by City National Bank, in September. With pop-up dining events, unique chef collaborations, panel talks, and other food-themed events taking place all across Los Angeles during the month-long Food Bowl celebration, the city’s diverse food culture is celebrated.

In order for everyone to have a good time, parties continue even if the summer is coming to an end. The Food Bowl Launch Party welcomes the cuisine & beverage industry for a night of drinks and nibbles from some of L.A.’s top chefs as a way to celebrate the beginning of this delectable month of food.

Nobody enjoys eating, right? As we begin a month of events commemorating the thriving local food sector, Visiting chefs will provide unusual dishes that evening. Refreshments will be available as Francesca Harding (KCRW) performs a live DJ performance. Laurie Ochoa, general manager of the L.A. Times Food team, will also live-present awards to this year’s Gold Award and Restaurant of the Year winners.
