A Lebanese restaurant with two locations in Long Beach has now opened their third location in the space that was once Eva on Beverly Blvd, right next to BLD. This quaint spot, now houses delicious bites of Mediterranean cuisine brought to you by owner, Ali Kobeissi.

Open Sesame welcomes guests through a golden archway, thus enter to find rich warm colors throughout the interior. Design of Open Sesame display exotic tile work, marble bar tops,dark wood furniture, beautiful pillows and mirrored accessories grace the restaurant from front to back. The menu offers dishes which reference Kobeissi’s childhood. “To a child in Lebanon,” explains Kobeissi, “fruit is considered a treat. It is eaten only when in season, and it is bursting with flavor; the same with vegetables”. Our foods utilize a great deal of spice, states Kobeissi, but the bold flavors are found in the freshness of our cooking.

The menu offers the usual Mediterranean delights- olives, hummus, kabobs, chicken shawarma, falafel platters, and garlic sauce…but one who visits must try a cocktail. Open Sesame Los Angeles features a full bar, offering a of list specialty cocktails that evoke and complement the bold flavors of the cuisine, as well as an offering of boutique beer and wine selections chosen by Kobeissi himself.
