Los Feliz is LA’s best area for Brunch-

Sundays in Los Angeles are the best day, perhaps just because of brunch. After a long weekend of either long night outs with your friends, or serious workout fetes anyone could use a cheesy egg dish or french toast concoction for their first meal of the day. The best brunch days are filled with a mimosa or two, followed by a little rose maybe a bloody Mary, and window shopping.  Vermont Ave & HillHurst Ave in Los Feliz boast some of the best brunch spots in Los Angeles. It is often difficult to come up with a location, best to be explored by walking, filled with multiple brunch spots, and charming storefronts in a classic Hollywood scene. This hipster borough is your LA answer giving you an array of eclectic coffee shops, cafes, and restaurants to choose from. Here are the recommendations:

Nested on Vermont Ave, you can easily walk by the alleyway entrance if you are not looking out for it. Atrium has a beautiful outdoor eating area which leads you into a stunning bow truss interior with green velvet banquettes and a bar that serves as the centerpiece of the dining room. As the new comer to the Los Feliz Brunch scene, Chef Hunter Pritchett and Pastry Chef Gregory Baumgartner have collaborated on a stellar menu for Atrium, available every Saturday and Sunday from 10am -3pm. The duo puts forth a menu that offers hearty, luscious dishes as well as an array of gluten-free and vegetarian options that make this brunch one of the most approachable and satisfying in the Los Feliz neighborhood. Atrium is the ultimate brunch spot as you down oysters, Greg’s biscuits, The Burger, Rick’s Eggs and some champagne a few hours later you find yourself not wanting to leave. Try the Green Pozole Bowl poached egg, pickled onion, radish, crispy tortillas and a side of their bacon.

Locals brunch favorites are the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and the “good ass” salad. Try the Crispy Rice crispy rice, market greens, two fried eggs, and pork bell.

Some local favorite dishes include the wood-oven Pizzas, the Meatball & Mozzarella Sandwich and Cedar Plank Salmon.  Start off your meal at Lunch or Dinner with some Rice Balls, a mixture of mushroom risotto with fresh mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone rolled in bread crumbs and fried.  Try the Cauliflower “Rice” with Wood Oven Roasted Eggs, Romesco & Salsa Verde.

This Coffee, Tea, Breakfast & Brunch, Bubble Tea spot has a menu worth the staying for.
