A longtime, family-owned, Napa Valley-based mainstay in luxury winemaking, Tayson Pierce Wines has more than established itself as a staple brand in the wine community, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and the iconic Rothchild Rosé offerings in their award-winning catalog.

In addition to these uniquely refreshing vintages, Tayson Pierce has also partnered with French masters to develop an extended champagne line: Eric Philippe Champagne, three selections of refreshing and bubbly champagne made to satisfy even the most discerning of palates.

Eric Philippe’s Extra Brut champagne is a fruity, barrel-aged, multi-vintage blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, with a fresh, light bouquet and a golden hue. This wine is aged for no less than three years using only the finest grapes sourced at Premier Cru and Grand Cru, privately held French vineyards in Ecuiel and Bouzy, respectively.

The 2012 Vintage Extra Brut is nearly identical to the standard Extra Brut blend, with one key distinction: This single-vintage blend is made exclusively with hand-selected grapes harvested during a particularly exceptional year for the vineyard, and is a perfect companion for both before and during meals.

The final selection from Eric Philippe is the brilliantly rose-colored Brut Rosé, an interesting deviation that is created using a blend with a much higher concentration of Pinot Noir to Chardonnay. A delicate, 52-hour maceration process gives the drink an elegant, salmon-colored hue. It is matured for two years in bottle before being laid down for at least six months before release.
